Have you ever wanted to speak another language? I'm not talking about those boring language classes we took in high school or the tedious CD Roms we've tried. How about learning to say please or thank you in the language of the person with whom you are conversing? It's almost guaranteed to get a smile.
When I travel, I learn 10 words in the host language. You'd be surprised how far this takes you.
